Maharashtra HSC Result 2025 | The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 results today at 1 PM. Students who appeared for the exams between February 11 and March 11, 2025, can now access their results on the official websites: mahahsscboard.in, mahresult.nic.in, and other platforms such as hscresult.mkcl.org, results.digilocker.gov.in, and main.mahahsscboard.in/mr.
How to Check Your Maharashtra HSC Result 2025
Students can easily check their results by visiting any of the official portals and entering their roll number along with their mother’s name, as mentioned on their hall ticket. The results will be available in the form of a provisional marksheet, which can be downloaded for immediate use. However, students will need to collect their original marksheets from their respective schools after the board announces the results.
Slight Decline in Overall Pass Percentage
This year, the overall pass percentage for Maharashtra HSC results is recorded at 91.88%, which marks a slight dip compared to last year’s 93.37%. A total of 14,27,085 students had registered for the exams, out of which 14,17,969 students appeared, and 13,02,873 students successfully passed. Although the decline is modest, the pass percentage remains high.
Comparison with Previous Years
The pass percentage in 2024 stood at 93.37%, showing an improvement over 2023, where the pass rate had dropped to 91.25% from 94.22% in 2022. The girls continue to outperform the boys, with a pass percentage of 95.44% compared to 91.60% for boys. In 2024, students from the Science stream achieved the highest pass percentage at 97.82%, followed by Commerce at 92.18%, and Arts at 85.88%.
Regional Performance Breakdown
Regionally, the Konkan division recorded the highest pass percentage at 97.51%, while Mumbai had the lowest among all divisions with a pass percentage of 91.95%. This shows regional variations in performance, with some areas consistently outperforming others.
Provisional Marksheet and School Collection
While the provisional mark sheet is available for download, students should visit their respective schools to collect the original marksheets after the board completes the result process.
Despite a slight decrease in the overall pass percentage, the 2025 Maharashtra HSC results reflect a high level of academic achievement across various streams and regions. With the results now out, students are encouraged to review their marks and plan their next steps accordingly.
